Beginnings.......

We are a small Hobby Kennel located on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We live here with our 4 dogs, 4 horses, 2 minature donkeys, 5 lop eared rabbits and 6 budgies. We are a family of animal lovers, evident by our slowly increasing collection of beautiful pets joining our family. Our love for the breed began in the UK, when my Brother visited me, bringing with him a lovely solid black Boy called Harvey, who was a real character. It wasn't long before my Brother got a lovely solid black Dog of his own, whom he named Banjo. We adore him and decided we wanted an ECS of our own. We followed with a golden (red) Boy of our own, who has some orange roan in his Pedigree, hence the golden with white feathering in his coat. He was our Our first Dog, Rooney, a lovely Boy, a wonderful personality, he plays a big part in our family and loves everybody. Soon to follow was Bella, a Red Girl, a totally different personality to Rooney, she is such a "madam" and certainly rules the roost, but has such a sweet nature. We moved to Calgary, bringing our Dogs with us and it was here we decided to have our first litter with Rooney and Bella. They produced a lovely litter, from whom we kept Elsa, our golden Girl. The latest addition to our family is Dixie, a beautiful solid Black Boy, imported from the UK. He is of excellent Pedigree, from a long line of Show Champions, his Great Grandfather being Best in Show at Crufts 1996. We hope to show him here in Canada. All of our Dogs are Clear Eye Tested annually, are of good Pedigree and sound temperament, they are great with children and make excellent family pets. We hope to continue importing quality Dogs from the UK, so please visit often and watch our family grow.......Puppies are sometimes available to Approved Homes, so please contact us for Puppy availability.
